Devon and Greg dreamed of a traditional Chicago wedding, and that’s exactly what they got on an unseasonably warm Saturday in November.
They day began their big day at the trendy Amalfi hotel. The girl’s room had an abundance of goodies in the bride’s color of choice.

Devon’s parents overflowed with tears, smiles, hugs and adorning glances directed toward their stunning daughter.

First glance…

The wedding party took a limo to several famous Chicago locations for formal shots.

We begin at lookout point by the Adler Planetarium.

Then these lovely ladies showed me some attitude!

Devon and Greg’s wedding was officiated at the foot of Newberry Library’s grand marble staircase.

Greg had a signature drink menu created specifically for his wedding. Because these drinks were special to the bride and groom, it only seemed fitting to photograph them. The first is the Grand Autumn, the second is the ABC Kitchen Rye Whiskey Manhattan and the following image is the Fall Harvest Sangria.

I hope you enjoy seeing Mike and Laura’s picturesque lake shore wedding as much as I enjoyed shooting it. The day actually started out with a lot of jitters. It was dark, gloomy and flooding! With an outdoor wedding on the agenda, the bride and groom were getting nervous. Amazingly enough, the sky cleared up within in matter of 30 minutes, and by the time we got to the venue, it was sunny and beautiful.

Anne is a choir instructor who is gifted with a powerful singing voice. She needed headshots taken for her CD cover and publicity. I love how her personality shines through in the later images.

I wanted to accentuate Anne’s beautiful hair in some of the images.

We tried a number of poses, but this next image is so quirky and natural, I had to include it.
